Piano Practice - Something else I do

My Piano Practice

I want to share a video I got for the school paper.

Even though I am a home-schooled kid, I also take classes at a school called Williamsburg Academy Intermediate. They wanted us to share something that shows our talents for the school paper so I sent in this video of me practicing piano at home. I take piano classes and my teacher is Jessica Monteiro. She is a really good teacher and she is really nice too.
I hope you like this video of me practicing piano at home. Maybe soon I can share a video of me doing BMX!

Jimmy Carter, today in history-Leadership Project

                                             Today in history

                                                                 Jimmy Carter

A leader and Former President of United States of America

A day like today October 11th of 2002, Jimmy Carter, who was the 39th president of the United States, won a Noble Peace Prize because he had peace talks between Israel and Egypt in 1978.

Jimmy Carter ( James Earl Carter Jr. ) was born on October 1 of 1924, he is 88 years old now. When he was a child, his father owned a peanut farm in Plains, Georgia and Jimmy Carter helped his father on the farm.

He went to the NAVY but while he was in the NAVY, they made fun of him because he was short. He did not pay attention to that, and he became a Lieutenant and he even had a submarine in charge.

As a president he would not fight with other countries, he would bring peace and he negotiated with them. He also fights for human rights and is the author of 17 books.

I think he is a leader for not letting other people stop him from his goals and for using peace to negotiate and talk to other countries.

Peter Stuyvesant-Leadership Project

        Project Leadership Class

     Today's Leader

         Date:10/4/12
Peter Stuyvesant- Established America's First Volunteer Fireman

     Today’s leader

I picked today’s leader and his name is Peter Stuyvesant. He established
America’s first volunteer firemen. He was born in the Netherlands in 1592 and died in 1672.
Mr. Stuyvesant served in the Dutch Army and he was a governor and he lost a leg in an attack t the Portuguese Island of St. Martin. he later moved to America and he was appointed director at
New Amsterdam on May 11, 1647.

As a director of New Amsterdam he organized a council and made a court. But he was unpopular because he was a bit of a dictator leader and he got in trouble a lot with other colonist leaders.

Even though he was tough, every thing was organized and he created a lot of things for the colony like trading with other countries and people felt safe with him around because
he protected the colony.

MY FOOD DECAY PHOTO DOCUMENTARY

This is my food decay project for my STEM class at Williamsburg Academy. I am supposed to compare to different foods, one healthy and one that has been processed. So I decided to pick an apple vs chicken nuggets to see the difference between their changes.

I cut the apple to see the insides.

Nuggets got even harder by the last day.

I threw a nugget on the floor and it broke like a piece of wood!

The nuggets left a lot of grease.
